12.002 – patientZERO

This is the bike that started it all and for years I’ve had different designs of Long Travel HardTails on my computer. Once started as a 26″ and a more classic geometry I finally decided on 29″ wheels as ideal for a rugged hardtail. The frame accepts up to 2.6 tyres and has sliding dropouts to be able to experiment with different chainstaylengths. (415-445mm) The headtubeangle of 65.5 degrees, the longer reach and low bottom bracket make it excel in technical descents. Tubing is mainly Columbus Zona, with a 44mm headtube and handbuilt yoke.
