12.014 – Wouter’s gravelcommuter

Wouter was looking for a comfy commuter but also a gravel/winterbike. He can’t sit very low because of a crash and he wanted a bike to feel safe on. Perfect case for a custom frame!
I tried to keep a visual balance in the bike regardless of the short and tall geometry. The chainstays have been lengthened and the headangle slackened to create more stability at speed. The frame is built from Columbus Zone main tubes, a 68mm BSa BB, 44mm headtube and bespoke project12 dropouts. Eyelets have been added for a minimal Tubus rack. The lightgray pain is finished with a subtle metallic topcoat. The bike is finished with a top spec: Enve fork, Chris King headset, custom wheelset and Sram Force groupset.
